Delivery Driver & Maintenance Assistant

PART TIME
20 HOURS
LEEDS

We’re looking for someone to join our Events Team, delivering hired items for our business across Yorkshire and helping with general maintenance and the upkeep of our equipment.

Most of our work is at weekends for weddings, birthdays and corporate events etc. Items you will be delivering include light up letters and numbers, photo booths and occasional balloon displays.  Maintenance work may include some painting and light repairs of equipment, ensuring our vans are tip-top and also the occasional trip to suppliers.

You need to be physically fit to lift kit, punctual and reliable, able to deal with customers in a professional manner, technically proficient to use various business apps and learn some of our systems - and also meet the requirements to be insured on our vans.

This role is part-time and salaried at 20 hours a week, at £15 per hour with hours below. Saturday and Sundays are consistent we can be a bit more flexible with Friday and Monday hours depending on the needs of the business. We may also have additional hours that we can pay as overtime.

Friday: 9am-12pm (3)
Saturday: 8am - 3pm (7)
Sunday: 8am - 3pm (7)
Monday: 9am-12pm (3)

Our warehouse is based near central Leeds.  There is also potential for this role to grow with more hours as we expand in 2024.

Events Co-Ordinator

FULL TIME
LEEDS

We’re looking for someone to join PhotoBomb to co-ordinate our bookings and operations. In 2023 we had 1,034 bookings and this year we anticipate it being over 1,500 with our ambitious expansion plans. Bookings can range from the simple hire of light up numbers for a birthday, through to a weekend activation at a festival with our photo booths.

You need to be organised and switched-on for this role with a fantastic ability to deal with customers and our wider team. You’ll do a bit of everything, from dealing with enquiries and booking people in, working through planning details, recruiting and booking people to work at events to co-ordinating logistics for weekends. All of it maintaining our reputation for being organised to make every customer journey perfect.

We’d also like you to know our equipment inside-out so you can load of pre-sets and settings for events - and because it will help with your role in planning and pitching for brand experiences with our kit.

In 2024 we’re looking to expand our equipment range, services offered, coverage areas and volumes. You will be key in helping this go smoothly as we grow!

Experience in the events industry would be great but it’s not essential. You’ll need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Some sales and/or customer service experience would also be useful. You’ll also need to be good with a computer.

Our warehouse is based near central Leeds and we have flexible working options. You’ll get a MacBook to do your best work and there’s paid holiday too. This is a full-time role with a salary of between £25,000 and £30,000, depending on experience.

Event Assistant

CASUAL WORK
LEEDS

We’re looking for multiple people to join PhotoBomb to work at weddings, events and parties across Yorkshire as an Event Assistant. You might be working as part of a small team, or going solo when appropriate. The latter has a higher rate of pay for more responsibility.

You will be operating our state-of-the-art photo booths, setting them up, then interacting with guests to get great photos and/or videos, managing a guestbook and keep everything running smoothly. You’ll then pack down and return to our unit to unload.

We’ll provide you with full training and some shifts where you’ll be accompanied by someone more experienced. We have them available pretty much every weekend of the year and a system to show your availability, track hours and submit times for pay.

You need to be presentable, outgoing and also confident to deal with guests who are often in a party mood, you’ll need to have a technical mind to work with our kit and be a problem solver from time-to-time, if you’re going to be a driver (over 23) you need to have less than six points on your licence and comfortable driving a van.

Most of all, we’d need you to be reliable. If you commit to a shift, you’re committing to be a part of what is often the best day in our customers lives if it’s a wedding. You can’t be flaky with us and we need you to smash it for them, every time.

Our warehouse is based near central Leeds. You will depart and finish here most of the time and there is parking. Pay is £11.50 per hour when working as a team or £15 per hour when working solo.
