Events & Warehouse Assistant
PhotoBomb is part of a Leeds-based group of businesses operating within the events and balloon industries. From weddings and corporate events to e-commerce gifting and wholesale balloon supplies, we provide a wide range of products and services across Yorkshire and the wider UK.
We're looking for a reliable, practical and motivated individual to join our team, supporting our day-to-day operations across our wider business.
This is a varied role that primarily involves deliveries but also warehouse work, equipment preparation, maintenance and customer-facing responsibilities.
It's the ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in doing a job well. There's scope to grow this role too.
What you'll do
- →Delivering and collecting light-up numbers, letters, photo booths and other event equipment across Yorkshire
- →Delivering balloon displays, gift balloons and customer orders locally
- →Delivering balloon equipment and supplies to our wholesale customers
- →Loading and unloading company vans safely and efficiently
- →Setting up and collecting equipment at customer venues
- →Assisting with balloon preparation, packing and general order fulfilment
- →Helping prepare customer orders for dispatch and collection
- →Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and event-ready
- →Cleaning, maintaining and preparing equipment for upcoming events
- →Carrying out basic repairs, painting and refurbishment work where required
- →Assisting with stock organisation and general warehouse duties
- →Planning efficient delivery routes using online mapping and navigation systems
- →Supporting the wider team during busy periods and helping wherever required
- →Most delivery shifts will typically start between 8:00am and 9:00am, finishing around 12:00pm to 2:00pm, although flexibility is required depending on bookings and seasonal demand on hours
What we're looking for
- →Is 25 years or older (required for our vehicle insurance)
- →Holds a full UK driving licence with a good driving record
- →Is reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- →Has an exceptional standard of spoken and written English and can communicate professionally with customers, venues and colleagues
- →Is practical and confident carrying out basic maintenance, cleaning and painting tasks
- →Can work independently and use their own initiative
- →Is organised and able to plan efficient delivery routes using maps and navigation software
- →Is comfortable using a computer, smartphone and online systems
- →Has excellent customer service skills
- →Is polite, professional and well-presented when dealing with customers, wedding venues and business clients
- →Understands that many of our customers are celebrating important occasions where attention to detail and professionalism are essential
- →Is physically fit enough to safely load, unload and move event equipment
- →Can think ahead, solve problems and remain calm under pressure
- →Takes pride in maintaining high standards throughout everything they do

Important information
- →Due to the nature of our work, hours vary throughout the year. Summer and Christmas are typically our busiest periods, whilst quieter periods may involve fewer hours.
- →Additional hours worked beyond your contracted hours will be paid separately.
